Art imitates life

Art imitates Life Tahoe U Blog Summer Weekend Guide

Living in such a beautiful place means lots of creative inspiration. So much so that last year Truckee was named an official Cultural District by the California Arts Council. The entire Tahoe Basin is full of talented artists that enrich and reflect the natural surroundings. This weekend we hope you takes some time to enjoy the creative side of things with our Summer Weekend Guide recommendations.

Outfit inspiration at Tahoe University

First things first, we've pulled an outfit that is chic and comfortable for perusing a gallery, are getting into the paint yourself (apron advised). The simple cream look is great for a pop of color like the green stripe in the Sam & Lavi pants, or even some wearable art you may pick up out and about with a bright earring or necklace.
