Style at altitude 👖⛰️

When you live in a place full of natural beauty, it's impossible to not feel inspired constantly. One form of expression that may surprise outsiders is personal style. We are looking for ambassadors who personify the unique qualities of mountain style. Tag us on Instagram using #styleataltitude and @tahoeuniversity or email and show us: How do you define style at altitude?

While practicality for the elements and an active lifestyle play a role, this area is full of stylish and creative tastemakers who have found a way to combine comfort, taste and a lot of character. Here are some sartorially inclined locals that inspire us daily.

Part of Tahoe University's mission is to help foster what defines living here, and fashion is, well, our passion (are we rhyming again?). We don't think the snow, cold temps, or flexibility to get into rajakapotasana should stop us from showing a little flair.

By creating a space for community as well as shopping, curated with style that inspires us, we hope to show the world that we can throw on our boots, scrape off our windshields at 6 a.m. AND look good doing it. We contain multitudes.

Now here's where YOU come in. There's no one better to showcase the unique and passionate personality of a community than its inhabitants. You each define and add to the eclectic vibe. We want you to show us how you define mountain style and help us tell our style story.
